To make a topiary, you will first need to make a base.

Take the flower pot or the vessel that you prepared for the base (choose so that its diameter does not exceed the diameter of the tree crown, otherwise you will add unnecessary heaviness to the composition or make it disproportionate). Dilute the construction plaster with water so that its consistency resembles thick sour cream. Fill the pot with it.
You need to insert the future trunk of your tree into the center. You can use thick wire and paint it with silver or gold paint, or wrap a beautiful ribbon around a tree branch. Hold the trunk until the plaster begins to harden.
Then you can go make the crown.
