Central command post of the Strategic Missile Forces. Central command post of strategic missile forces (TSKP Strategic Missile Forces) What are its tasks?

Major General Denisyuk Vitaly Semenovich, head of the central command post of the Strategic Missile Forces from 1989 to 2001.

The Central Command Center of the Strategic Missile Forces, located in the ZATO Vlasikha - Odintsovo-10, Moscow region, is not a “joke” place at all.

It is from here that commands are given to launch ballistic missiles of the Strategic Missile Forces.

But even here there are people who understand humor.

I don’t know who wrote down Vitaly Semenovich’s “catch phrases,” but they are worth reading...

Denisyuk's quotation book

Recently I was rummaging through old things at the dacha and found a small notebook that I had in my military service in 85-87 in Lipniki. My delight knew no bounds, because... several pages in it were occupied... by the immortal phrases of our political commander of the 1st division, Major Yuri Andreevich Pogulyaev.

Comrade Major, Uncle Yura, forgive me for keeping a chronicle of your statements.

I think after more than 20 years I have the right to publish them here.

God bless you!

We all remember you!

The commander must make everyone spin and run, even if to no avail.

Train everyone to the point of rabid dogs, so that they shout who knows what.

He stands, sweats, howls, makes noise, as if something is crawling out of him.

They go to the meeting as if I’m going to hand out rubles.

You go to a meeting as if talking to me is a pleasure...

Write it so that even a goat can understand.

They freaked out, got nervous, had a snack, spat and forgot.

They walk around bald, meaning without a hat, their heads are bare, and then they say acute respiratory infections...

You think and give suggestions, because if I come up with something brilliant with my stupid head, then there will be nothing but your tears...

Decide what kind of communication there will be: a nod, a whistle, a shout, a bark...

Don’t convince me otherwise of your feeble brainwashing; It’s clear that it’s bullshit, so you’re also voicing it...

Who allowed the lieutenant colonel to have his own thoughts on combat duty?

People do everything: they screw up the whole thing, they also unravel...

There is smoke, screaming noise and general commotion...

You go to the center as if you were going to a concentration camp, and the worse it is, the better it is in the environment.

Grab them by the throat and go feet first...

Don't love your subordinates more than me and yourself...

You keep trying to get out of submission with a loud voice.

Let the women lie there naked, but if they help combat readiness, then let them lie there.

If the bosses in the direction have nothing to do, come to my office, I will beat you up.

And for those who have a hard time, let them lie down on a stretcher and go to the medical unit.

They never asked, then they asked and immediately fired me. Of course it's a shame. It would be better if every day - and they didn’t fire...

One reads from his head, another from his feet, the third from this tattered piece of paper.

"Moulinex". He's a Japanese transmitter. Give all the teapots to me. I'll give you Russian. It doesn't have a transmitter. No. I'll give you a soldier's. It doesn't even have a boiler. You will warm it with your hands.

I know from myself: as soon as I opened my mouth, I immediately had a fever.

Here is Masalida - you can’t kill him with a drawbar, but he walks around and is sick.

If your wife and dog interfere with the service, you need to kick both of them out.

I’ve been having a headache for four days, but I go to work. A bad head does not interfere with work.

They have risen to the rank of colonel, but they cannot report in such a way that everyone around them weeps with joy.

If the Commander-in-Chief comes to the Central Control Center at the beginning of the war, he will be buried by the first nuclear strike. Therefore, he will sit on the VZPU and fly until there is enough fuel, and die when he lands.

If the subordinate is not trained and the boss is not real, then there will be no success.

Why are you looking at me?... Sweat has already appeared before your eyes.

We made it! Instead of being severely reprimanded, he stands and smiles at the general.

They should be hanged for this, but no one knows who. Better than both at once.

If a soldier goes to the central control center without formation and without a song, and along the corridor he demolishes everything in his path, this is the element that will... hang us up.

They either have no lights, or mosquitoes, or water in the toilet... You need to eat less while on duty and you won’t need the toilet. Let them go with teapots: drink tea, and then go there, like in a pot...

Laughter is laughter, but combat control depends on the toilet: who will deal with the “Monoliths” when there is a line to the toilet?

If you serve like this, I will disperse you to hell and finish your song with a solemn march in different directions.

They do nothing in the database except drink, eat and spit. When training for survivability, send everyone through the anus. Twist everyone's arms and legs so that they all die on these stairs.

The New Year has already been going on for a year and a half, and you are not itching.

Is anyone writing down the bullshit I've been spouting for half an hour?

Leaders of factions, chairmen of committees, legislators - for the most part, are stupid people...

Not a direction, but a bazaar with gypsy trash.

You are responsible for all sorts of bells and whistles at the Central Communal Center: so that there is an artistic whistling and an art gallery.

There is such a game: WHAT? WHERE? WHY? There's also an owl there and they're playing this bullshit. There's money at stake there. And here the money is like this: ..., I lost and went to Nizhny Tagil.

If a nuclear war starts, why do we need that food? We'll all die like dogs.

Any bad bright thought is welcome...

I will bark at you, and you will lick your lips.

I'll get a scolding, and then I'll give you a French revolution.

If the saboteurs attacked before the order came from the General Staff, you need to surrender and let them feed you.

I’m surprised what other reserves of stupidity are hidden at the Central Communications Centre.

Girls, I’m looking at another place where quite educated and moderately romantic people live, with a decent average salary. This is the closed city of Vlasikha (aka Odintsovo-10 - 25 km west of Moscow) - a city of grooms with a population of 24 thousand. There are no Tajik janitors or Caucasian taxi drivers. Bonus: a crazy underground city in case of nuclear war. In general, if something happens, it will be you who will have to revive humanity from scratch.
Although, on the other hand, according to the declassified plans of the potential enemy, three nuclear warheads are intended specifically for Vlasikha. And this is no coincidence.
In fact, an autonomous submarine (or rather underground) is hidden in the center of Vlasikha. The length of its deeply buried corridors is more than 10 km. We were shown only four underground floors, but according to the smoking room, the construction of the command post is buried even lower.
Of course, the Central Command Post of the Strategic Missile Forces is completely autonomous. Excess supplies of oxygen, water, food, medicine, etc. There are probably rubber women in case of protracted negotiations and subsequent conflicts.
Yes, here the same red button is pressed that controls the launches of all silo-based and mobile-based missile systems. And it is clear that in terms of the total nuclear warhead, the strike power of the Strategic Missile Forces exceeds any other type/branch of Russian troops. We press the button, and those guys from Wall Street, Fifth Avenue, Causeway Bay, Bond Street, Avenue des Champs Elysees, Ginza, Grafton Street, Pitt Street Mall, Gangnam Station, etc. are gone. True, my Enthusiasts highway won’t exist either, but at heart Russians are enthusiasts, maybe we’ll be the only ones left intact.
By the way, if our enemy saw the state of the command post, he would think many times before placing missiles around Russia. They let us take pictures with cameras and video. You can see for yourself that most of the equipment is from the distant times of the USSR. How the capacitors still don’t explode and the relays don’t short out is anyone’s guess. However, after the start of a nuclear showdown, the bunker will be able to hold out for several minutes, which is enough for a guaranteed retaliatory strike. But if we accidentally shoot something, it’s not our fault - we asked for it ourselves.
It remains to add that military personnel of the Central Command Commission receive substantial salary increases, and incentive payments to the best officers range from 45 to 140 thousand rubles. – information from the command of the Strategic Missile Forces. Plus, a year of service at an underground command post is equivalent to one and a half years, which is also nice.
Below are photos and videos to give you an idea.

This time I won't arrange it" director's production", I’ll just describe how everything was in order. So, thanks Press Club of the Ministry of Defense and personal initiative press secretary of the Strategic Missile Forces Vadim Anatolyevich Koval , we managed to visit the holy of holies - the Central Command Post of the Strategic Missile Forces. I already think this alone is quite surprising, so don’t be disappointed, but be glad that there is no action in this story.

grouping of the Strategic Missile Forces. And this, according to data as of January 1, 2011, is almost 3 missile armies, 12 divisions, 374 missile systems (directly missiles), with 1247 warheads installed on them, with a total capacity of approx. 750 Mt (according to my personal calculations from open sources) in TNT equivalent (Hiroshima about 16 Kt). This is the most powerful branch of the Russian military and it is only thanks to its presence that you are still reading this.

Next, we visited the main hall of the Central Communal Center itself; for obvious reasons, filming is prohibited in it. I repeat that we got there solely thanks to the press secretary of the Strategic Missile Forces V.A. Koval, who was still able to organize this despite the initial refusal. Externally it looks like in the illustration, the room is about 6 meters high, small and not small, with remote controls and all kinds of communications. Somewhat reminiscent of the MCC. From here all possible control and management of the entire Strategic Missile Forces group is carried out. Not everyone manages to get to the Central Command Post of the Strategic Missile Forces. But “Defend Russia” journalists were lucky enough to see the “holy of holies” of the missile forces with their own eyes. We photographed everything we could and prepared a tour of the secret facility for you.

The main hall of the Central Command Post looks like this:

All threads of combat control flock to the command post, and from here the leadership of the Strategic Missile Forces troops takes place.

The military did not admit which phone number Putin was calling them on, but assured that it was definitely one of these.

The radio training goes like this:

Photo: Andrey Luft/Defend Russia

The imaginary opponent interferes with the signal. The radiotelegraph operator does not hear anything on the network and reports to the crew chief. The chief gives the command to the operator of the interference assessment post: “Assess the level of interference.” The operator evaluates, reports and suggests ways to avoid interference. The crew chief issues a command and rebuilds the radio network to a frequency that is not subject to enemy interference.

Irina Pervykh, sergeant, radiotelegraph operator of the radio department: “Women are also needed in the army - everyone fulfills their duties. I have 8 years of service and I can no longer imagine my life without the army. It sucks."

Photo: Andrey Luft/Defend Russia

An ordinary person who does not know Morse code will not understand the radiogram. Messages are not transmitted in clear text. These are always coding phrases and commands. An enemy who knows Morse code but does not have the keys will not be able to decipher the text. The signalmen themselves do not know what they are transmitting. Radiograms can be either meaningful text or a set of letters.

Photo: Andrey Luft/Defend Russia

In the control room of the radio department, information is received and transmitted, communication is maintained with all missile units in Russia. The equipment is serviceable and functional, but the equipment will be updated in the near future. It is planned that by 2020 the missile forces will completely switch to digital communications.

You can get lost in the corridors of the Central Command Post. In total, their length is more than a kilometer. And they are located at a depth of 30 meters.

Since this year, the Strategic Missile Forces Central Operations Center has been operating an electronic document flow - all documents and reports are transmitted electronically. This reduces data processing time and improves the quality of work.

The head of the duty shift, Colonel Alexey Markovich Knopmakher: “There are about six thousand missile officers at combat posts every day.”

All signals enter the line equipment room of the channel-forming systems department of the Strategic Missile Forces Communications Center, and only then are distributed. It is armed with the most modern complex of digital transmission systems. The main advantage of this equipment is its compactness. Four such racks can organize the operation of 500 communication channels. For now, both the previous equipment and the modern one are working in parallel - re-equipment is happening gradually. New systems are resistant to temperature changes and have built-in uninterruptible power supplies.

The Central Command Center of the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) is the largest underground metropolis in Central Russia, not counting the Moscow Metro.

"Before the rocket"

Let’s be clear right away: rockets are not launched from here. If necessary, this will be done by turning the keys by officers in the Strategic Missile Forces divisions. But only from here, from the Central Command Center of the Strategic Missile Forces, can an order come to put these keys into action. The keys, by the way, are nothing special—many people have more sophisticated ones for their apartments.

Railway station of the town of Odintsovo near Moscow. The most ordinary minibus goes to the destination.

- Where are you going?

- Before the rocket.

The main reference point here is the R-12 medium-range missile—the kind that became famous during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The route takes 20 minutes. On the way, a young but stern guard will definitely check the documents of all passengers.

Nothing special from the outside. The most important thing is inside! Photo: / Sergey Osipov

From the surface of the ground, the Central Command Center looks like an ordinary administrative building - there are about a dozen of them in each garrison. Millions of tons of concrete and steel are below, at a depth of up to 30 meters. Essentially, this is a block of ten-story buildings tipped underground. The floors are called that way: minus the first, minus the second, minus the third... In total there are tens of kilometers of corridors (they are called posterns here in the French manner) and stairs, steep as gangways on warships. The bunker, they say, is designed to withstand a direct hit from a heavy aerial bomb, but I really don’t want it to come to an inspection. The command post has been operating since 1967, despite the fact that the Strategic Missile Forces themselves were established on December 17, 1959. That is, one of these days the “country’s missile shield” will celebrate its 58th birthday.

The first underground door that you manage to enter is marked with the mysterious inscription “Group of Directions.” I feel like if they send me after her in some direction, it won’t be alone, but with a whole group of comrades. Premonitions did not disappoint.

The monitors are operated by officers ranging from major to colonel. There are no questions about the Strategic Missile Forces to which they do not know the answer.

— How many missiles do you have on alert?

- About 400.

— How many armies are there in the Strategic Missile Forces?

- Three. The divisions are deployed from the Tver to the Irkutsk regions.

All information about the Missile Forces flows here: where exactly, at what point of the combat patrol route is this or that mobile launcher located in the Nizhny Tagil or Novosibirsk division, what missile and with what flight mission is in the silo in the Tatishchev division... But this information is used by officers -referees are authorized to share only with “appropriate officials.” I am not one of them, so I move on.

The most important thing at the TsKP is not to forget to close the anti-nuclear protection doors behind you. Photo: / Sergey Osipov

main hall

The only window in the entire underground part of the Central Communist Party leads from the group of directions to the holy of holies - to the main hall. A dozen electronic clocks show the time from Washington to Kamchatka. They say they have the most accurate clocks in the country. One wall is almost entirely occupied by screens. And big, like in a movie theater, and small, like on a TV. All screens live their own lives, mostly secret. In honor of my visit, the couple was curtained with green opaque curtains “MB Troops” and “SB Troops”. These screens display the current status of the mobile and stationary groups of the Strategic Missile Forces. Any self-respecting spy would give his right arm for the numbers listed below.

One of the screens shows how at this very moment a transport and launch container with a brand new Yars missile, fresh from the factory, is being loaded into the missile silo.

- Where is it?

- Kozelsky division. Planned replacement of the rocket in the silo.

Here, in the main hall, is the battle banner of the Strategic Missile Forces and an icon Saint Barbara, patroness of rocket scientists.

In the Strategic Missile Forces, shifts take place twice a week, for 3 or 4 days. More than 500 people are on duty at the central control center at any one time. And in total for the Missile Forces there are about 6 thousand. To keep officers in good shape, the center constantly conducts training with them. Yoshkar-Ola, for example, is practicing counteraction to sabotage groups, Tagil is moving launchers to field positions, Irkutsk is practicing a conditional launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile.

The shift itself at the central control center is also regularly checked. Here it is, it's started again.

- Attention, calculation! - the commander of the duty forces (CDF) speaks into the microphone. — An order has been received to bring the Rocket Forces to the highest level of readiness!

“The first (second, third, and so on until the seventh) accepted,” the combat posts respond.

“Comrade commander,” the CDS reports to the very top, “the duty shift of the command post has been notified.” Time 11 hours 35 minutes...

And so day after day, year after year. A Strategic Missile Forces officer experiences 10 days of underground life per month, and from 70 to 110 days per year.

Meanwhile, in the Kozel division, a new missile was being installed in the silo. Photo: / Sergey Osipov

Underground caretakers

While the duty shift in the main hall manages mobile and stationary forces, someone must think about her breakfast, lunch and dinner, evening shower and the minute-by-minute air she breathes underground. These “someones” serve in the Daily Activities Control Center (DCDC) of the Strategic Missile Forces. From here, officers in polo shirts (but green and with shoulder straps) manage all economic activities of the Strategic Missile Forces. They control how much fuel oil and coal are in the boiler houses, how many personnel are in the barracks, how many beds are in hospitals and how many pairs of shoes are in warehouses.

All systems at the central command center are built with a luxury that is unaffordable for the civilian sector - double and triple duplication. At a decent distance from the communications center with state-of-the-art equipment, there is a room with radio stations from the 80s.

- Is it really lamps? - I ask with almost sacred horror.

- No, semiconductor. They are the most noise-resistant, reliable and durable.

In peacetime, the CCP receives electricity from external sources. But deep underground there is a hall the size of a mini-football field with a row of huge ship diesel generators. Total power is measured in megawatts. Somehow in the 90s, when the central command center was disconnected from civilian power grids for non-payment (and this happened!), the rocket men lived for several days on internal resources. By the way, the TsKP can last more than a month completely disconnected from the outside world. And it’s generally easy to breathe in it.
