Soup with sausages in a slow cooker recipe

Cut the onion into small cubes.

Grate a small carrot on a coarse grater.

Turn on the multicooker to the Frying or Baking mode for 20 minutes. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl. Add onions and carrots. Sauté until the onion is transparent.

Cut the peeled potatoes into small cubes and add them to the bowl with the fried vegetables, stir several times.

Pour a liter of boiling water into the bowl, add a little salt and pepper, add a bay leaf and a few peas of allspice.

We cut the sausages into rings 1 cm thick and also add them to the soup. I keep a supply of sausages in the freezer, so I cut them straight from frozen so as not to waste time.

When the soup boils, turn off the Frying mode and switch to the Stew mode for 20 minutes. I have a special Soup mode in my multicooker, but I prefer to cook soups in the Stew mode, it turns out tastier, since the soup does not boil, does not become cloudy, but rather simmers over low heat, it turns out transparent and rich. Let the finished soup brew for 15 minutes.

Lunch hour has come, and you were so busy that you didn’t have time to prepare the soup? The well-known borscht and cabbage soup do not cook that quickly. In addition, you need to purchase suitable meat and vegetables before cooking. But soup with sausage in a slow cooker is light and simple.

Of course, the advent of new technology - the multicooker - has speeded up the process of preparing many dishes. At the same time, there is a soup that can be prepared even faster using the same technique. This is sausage soup.

Soup with sausage can be quickly cooked on gas, however, in a slow cooker it turns out even more aromatic and rich, as if from a Russian stove. And you will always find the ingredients for such a soup in the refrigerator; all you have to do is quickly chop them up and turn on the miracle technology.

It takes 40 minutes to prepare sausage soup in a slow cooker. The following ingredients make 8 servings.

Ingredients

  • Sausage – 300 g;
  • Potatoes – 5 pcs.;
  • Carrots – 1 pc.;
  • Onion – 1 pc.;
  • Processed cheese – 1 pack;
  • Salt, spices - to taste;
  • Greenery.

Making soup with sausage in a slow cooker

Peel the carrots and onions.

Grate the carrots on a fine grater.

Turn the multicooker on to the “Frying” mode for 10 minutes. Fry the onions and carrots for 5 minutes until golden brown.

While the onions and carrots are frying, cut the sausage into cubes.

Mix the chopped sausage with the frying mixture. And fry for another 5-7 minutes.

At this time, peel the required amount of potatoes.

Cut the potatoes into cubes and place on top of the roast.

Cut the processed cheese into cubes and place on top of the potatoes. If desired, you can replace processed cheese with cream. In this case, the soup will taste more tender.

Fill all ingredients with water. Salt the soup and add your favorite seasonings. Set the multicooker to “Soup” mode for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the Polaris PMC 0517AD multicooker cannot set such a time; the minimum for the “Soup” program is 1 hour. In this case, note the time on your watch or alarm clock. For multicookers that do not have a “Soup” program, the “Stew” program is suitable.

After the specified time has passed, open the multicooker lid and enjoy the aroma of the quick-to-cook soup.

Pour the finished soup with sausage into plates. For more flavor, sprinkle the soup with herbs.

That's all! Serve this simple, tasty and satisfying soup. Your household members will be happy! Bon appetit!

Pea soup, especially with sausage or smoked meats, is a favorite dish for many. Some are ready to eat it at least every day. The only thing that stops them is that the peas, even pre-soaked ones, take a long time to cook.

The process of preparing your favorite soup can be speeded up if you use bagged peas intended for batch cooking. It does not require pre-soaking, and cooks twice as fast as regular peas - only 25-30 minutes.

According to this recipe, pea soup with sausage is prepared in a Polaris multicooker. Many housewives are convinced that a multicooker is a convenient and practical kitchen appliance, so they easily trust it to prepare various dishes.

Ingredients:

  • Peas in bags – 160 g (2 bags);
  • Boiled sausage – 180 g;
  • Frozen bell pepper – 110 g;
  • Onions – 120 g;
  • Carrots – 80 g;
  • Potatoes – 320 g;
  • Sunflower oil for sautéing vegetables – 20 ml, for frying sausage – 20 ml;
  • Salt;
  • Red pepper;
  • Cumin – 1/3 tsp;
  • Greenery.

How to cook:

Sauté vegetables in the “Frying” mode. Select this program and heat the oil in a bowl. Add finely chopped onion.

Stirring, sauté for 4 minutes until soft. Add carrots grated on a medium grater.

Cook for another 4 minutes.

Add frozen peppers. There is no need to defrost it, otherwise it will “float” and become watery.

Saute it also for 4 minutes.

Fill the vegetables with hot water up to the 2 liter mark.

Install the “Soup” program. Cook vegetables covered for 20 minutes. During this time, prepare the remaining ingredients.

Cut the bags of peas and pour the contents into a plate.

Cut the potatoes into wedges or cubes.

Cut the sausage into small slices.

Place the peas in the broth and stir.

Cook covered for 15 minutes.

Place the potatoes.

Salt, add cumin and pepper.

Continue cooking until the peas and potatoes are soft.

The cooking time for these products depends on the type of potato and the quality of the peas. But in any case, the peas take a little longer to cook than what is written on the package.

Separately, fry the chopped sausage in a frying pan.

Pour the soup into a plate, put a few pieces of sausage in the middle, sprinkle with herbs.

It's never too late to learn!

Even experienced housewives need to remember the basics of culinary skills from time to time, let alone novice chefs! Before we get into practice, let's remember how to make pea soup with smoked sausage:

  • It is better to cook soup from split peas, since it requires much less time to cook.
  • Don’t be lazy and wash the peas more thoroughly. The rule is simple: the better you wash it, the tastier and more aromatic the soup will be. And well-washed peas reduce the possibility of gas formation in the intestines.
  • Peas must first be soaked in cold water. It is advisable to leave it to swell overnight.
  • If you are making soup using frozen green peas, you don’t have to defrost it first.
  • The finished thick soup can be diluted with purified water to the desired consistency. Just don't forget to boil it.
  • To give pea soup with smoked sausage a unique aroma, add a little mint and your favorite herbs to the dish.
  • This soup goes harmoniously in taste with garlic croutons or white croutons.
  • If you are preparing a puree soup from peas and smoked sausage, add grated processed cheese to it.
  • After cooking, let the soup sit for 15-20 minutes, and only then serve it.
  • If you decide to cook such a first course in a slow cooker, select the “Stew” or “Soup” program.

And finally, I would like to note that nutritionists do not recommend drinking pea soup with cold water.
