Thaw the puff pastry dough at room temperature in advance. Roll it out on the table until the thickness is 5 mm and cut into thin strips, about two cm wide. Now wrap the sausages in strips of dough, twisting them in a spiral. Leave the edges of the sausages uncovered.

The recipe can be varied by adding cheese to the product. To do this, cut the sausage on the side and pour pre-grated cheese into the resulting hole. Or place a strip of cheese the length of the entire pie next to the sausage. Then wrap it in dough in the same way as described above.

Now dilute the egg yolk with water, stir and brush all the pies for a golden brown crust. Place on a baking sheet and microwave for 10 minutes. The finished baked goods should have a nice golden blush.
